What we collect
Orders: name, phone, delivery or takeaway address, optional e-mail and notes, order contents and payment method (cash on delivery).
Reservations: name, e-mail, phone, date, time and number of guests.
Newsletter: name, e-mail and the time of your consent.
Contact messages: whatever you send us.
If you accept analytics cookies: online identifiers such as a Google Analytics client ID and approximate usage data.
The website also stores strictly necessary data on your device (cookie choice, language, cart contents, admin session if you are staff).
Why we use your data
To perform a contract or take steps at your request (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)): processing takeaway and delivery orders, table reservations, and answering a booking or order enquiry.
Consent (Art. 6(1)(a)): newsletter and optional analytics cookies. You can withdraw consent at any time; withdrawal does not affect processing already carried out.
Legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c)): Hungarian accounting and tax rules for order records.
Legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)): running and securing the website, preventing spam and abuse, and keeping a reservation or order history that we still need for disputes. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests.
Who else sees your data
We do not sell your data. We use processors who work only on our instructions: e-mail delivery (Resend), website and database hosting, and — only if you accept analytics — Google Analytics.
Google reviews shown on the site are copied from Google; we do not collect those reviews on this website.
We may disclose data if a law or authority requires it.
Transfers outside the EU
E-mail and, if you consent, Google Analytics may involve processing in the United States. Where that happens we rely on an adequacy decision (EU–US Data Privacy Framework for certified organisations) and/or the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses, plus the provider’s data processing terms.
Cookies and local storage
We store a consent cookie (cc_cookie) with your choice. Strictly necessary cookies and local storage cover session security, language, cart contents and dismissing announcements. They do not require consent.
Optional analytics cookies (for example Google Analytics _ga / _gid) run only after you accept that category. You can change or withdraw consent at any time via Cookie Settings in the footer.
How long we keep data
Orders and related contact details: for as long as Hungarian accounting rules require (typically eight years from the relevant year).
Reservations: until the booked date has passed, then up to one year unless a complaint is still open.
Newsletter data: until you unsubscribe, after which we delete your details from the mailing list without delay.
Analytics data: until you withdraw consent or as set in Google Analytics (whichever is sooner).
Contact messages: until we have answered them and for a short period afterwards if follow-up is needed.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify or erase your personal data, to restrict or object to processing, to data portability where applicable, and to withdraw consent.

Complaints
